Collection of Cocktails (part 12)


RUM COLLIN’S
·         1¼ measure white rum
·         ¾ measure lemon juice
·         ½ measure simple syrup

Shake all ingredients until frosted, strain into a collin’s glass, and top up with soda water. Decorate with cherry and slice orange.


ROB-ROY
·         2 measure scotch whisky
·         ½ measure sweet vermouth

Shake all ingredients vigorously over ice until frosted and strain into a cocktail glass, dress with cherry.


RUSTY NAIL
·         1¼ measure scotch whisky
·         ¼ measure drambuie

Pour all ingredients into an old fashioned glass, and add 3-4 ice cubes.

PIMM’S NO.1
·         ¼ measure pimm’s no.1
·         Ginger ale or lemonade

Fill a highball glass full with ice and pour in the pimm’s, top up with ginger ale or lemonade and stir gently. Dress with cucumber peel and slice of lemon.



PINK GIN
·         2 measure gin
·         ¼ angostura bitters

Stir all ingredients over cracked ice cubes in a mixing glass and strain into a cocktail glass, decorate with maraschino cherry.



PINK LADY
·         1measure gin
·         ½ measure cointreau
·         ½ measure lemon juice
·         ¼ measure grenadine
·         egg white

            Shake all ingredients over ice until frosted and strain into a sour glass.


Collection of Cocktails (part 10)


NEGRONI
·         1 measure gin
·         ½ measure campari
·         ¾ mesure sweet vermouth

Stir all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass and strain into a cocktail glass. Dress with lemon peel.


NAVY GROG
·         ¾ measure dark rum
·         ¾ measure light rum
·         1½ measure orange juice
·         1½ measure grapefruit juice
·         1½ measure sweetened lemon juice.

Shake all ingredients over ice until frosted and strain into double old fashioned glass…decorate with pineapple wedge and cherry.


ORANGE BLOSSOM
·         2 measure gin
·         Orange juice

Half fill a highball glass with cracked ice cubes, pour the gin and top up with orange juice. Stir gently to mix and dress with the orange slice.

Collection of Cocktails (part 9)


MANHATTAN
·         2 measure bourbon
·         ½ measure sweet vermouth

Stirr all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass, and strain into a cocktail glass. Dress with cherry.

MARGARITA
·         1¼ measure tequila
·         ½ measure cointreau
·         ½ measure lime juice

Rub the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with the lime wedge and then dip in a saucer of coarse salt to frost. Shake all ingredients vigorously over cracked ice until frosted, strain into the prepared glass and dress with slice of lime.


MELON BALL
·         2 measure midori
·         2 measure vodka
·         4 measure pineapple juice

Pour all ingredients over ice and stir well to mix. Half fill a chilled tumbler with cracked ice cubes and strain the cocktail over them…decorate with melon wedge.


Collection of Cocktails (part 8)

KAMIKAZE
• 1measure vodka
• 1 measure triple sec
• ½ measure fresh lime juice

Shake all ingredients until frosted and strain into a chilled cocktail glass, dress with slice of lime.



KNOCK OUT COCKTAIL
• ½ measure gin
• ½ measure dry vermouth
• ½ measure pernod
• tsp crème de menthe white

Stir all ingredients over ice in a mixing glass until frosted and strain into a cocktail glass.


KIR
• 2 measure crème de cassis
• White wine

Put the crushed ice into a chilled wine glass, pour the crème de cassis over the ice, top up with chilled white wine and stir well. Dress with twist lemon peel.

Collection of Cocktails (part 7)


HARVEY WALLBANGER
·        1½ measure vodka
·        ½ measure galliano
·        3 measure orange juice

Pour the vodka and orange juice over cracked ice cubes in a highball glass, and pour gently the Galliano.


HONEY MOON
·        1¼ mesure brandy
·        ½  measure cointreau
·        ½ measure honey
·        1 whole fresh egg

Shake all ingredients until well frosted and strain into cocktail or champagne glass.


IRISH COFFEE
·        2 measure irish whisky
·        2 measure cream
·        Sugar to taste freshly made strong black coffee

Put the whisky into a warm heatproof glass with sugar to taste, pour in the coffee and stir. When the sugar has completely dissolved, pour the cream very slowly over the back of a spoon, which is just touching the top of coffee and the edge of the glass. Keep pouring until all the cream is added and has settled on the top. Do not stir!! But drink the coffee through the cream.

GIMLET
·        1½ measure gin
·        ½ measure lime cordial
  
Pour all ingredients over ice in a chilled old fashioned glass, top up with tonic or soda water and add a       slice of lime.


GRASSHOPPER
·        ¾ measure crème de menthe green
·        ¾ measure crème de cacao white
·        ¾ measure cream

Shake all ingredients until frost forms and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

  
GOLDEN FIZZ
·        1¼ measure gin
·        ¾ measure lemon juice
·        ½ measure simple syrup
·        1 yolk

Shake all ingredients and strain into a highball glass, top up with soda water.

EGG NOGG
·        1¼ measure brandy
·        ½ measure crème de cacao dark
·        ¾ measure cream
·        1 whole fresh egg

Whisk all ingredients and strain into a highball glass, sprinkle with freshly grated nutmeg.
 

FLAMING BIKINI’S
·        ¾ measure vodka
·        ¾ measure triple sec
·        ¾ measure sambuca
·        1 measure blue curacao

Put the blue curacao into a shot glass, pour vodka into a cocktail glass, pour gently triple sec to make a second layer, and last pour the sambuca to make a third layer…and flame.


FLAMING LAMBORGINI
·        ¾ measure kahlua
·        ¾ measure galliano
·        ¾ measure triple sec
·        ½ measure blue curacao
·        ½ measure baileys

Pour the blue curacao and baileys into a shot glass, and then pour kahlua into a cocktail glass, pour gently Galliano to make a second layer, and last pour the triple sec to make a third layer…and flame.

Collection of Cocktails (part 4)

24. CUBA LIBRA (RUM-COKE)
• 2 measure white or dark rum
• ¼ measure lime juice

Half fill a highball glass with cracked ice cubes, pour all ingredients over ice and top up with coke. Stir gently to mix and dress with wedge of lime.


25. CHI-CHI
• 1½ measure vodka
• ½ measure coconut milk
• ½ measure coconut
• 2 pineapple juice

Blender all ingredients and strain into a tall or double old fashioned glass, and dress with pineapple wedge and cherry.


26. CHERRY BLOSSOM
• 1 measure brandy
• ¼ measure cherry brandy
• ¼ measure curacao orange
• ¼ measure grenadine
• ¼ measure lemon juice

Shake all ingredients until well frosted and strain into a champagne glass.

Collection of Cocktails (part 3)

10. BAMBOO COCKTAIL
• ½ measure dry vermouth
• ½ measure sweet vermouth
• ½ measure dry sherry

Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.


11. BEACHOMBER
• 1 ¼ measure light Rum
• ¼ measure maraschino
• ½ measure sweetened lemon juice

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.


12. BLOODY MARRY
• 2 measure vodka
• 5 measure tomato juice
• ½ measure lemon juice

Dash the Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce over ice in shaker, and add the vodka, splash of dry sherry, tomato juice and lemon juice, shake vigorously until frosted, strain into a tall chilled glass, add salt and peppers and decorate with a celery stick and slice of lemon.
