Collection of Cocktails (part 3)

10. BAMBOO COCKTAIL
• ½ measure dry vermouth
• ½ measure sweet vermouth
• ½ measure dry sherry

Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.


11. BEACHOMBER
• 1 ¼ measure light Rum
• ¼ measure maraschino
• ½ measure sweetened lemon juice

Shake all ingredients over ice and strain into a cocktail glass.


12. BLOODY MARRY
• 2 measure vodka
• 5 measure tomato juice
• ½ measure lemon juice

Dash the Worcestershire sauce and Tabasco sauce over ice in shaker, and add the vodka, splash of dry sherry, tomato juice and lemon juice, shake vigorously until frosted, strain into a tall chilled glass, add salt and peppers and decorate with a celery stick and slice of lemon.


13. BLACK RUSSIAN
• 2 measure vodka
• 1 measure kahlua

Pour all ingredients over cracked ice cubes in a small chilled highball glass and stir to mix.

14. BACARDI COCKTAIL
• 2 measure bacardi rum
• ½ measure lemon juice
• ½ measure grenadine

Shake all ingredients over ice until well frosted and strain into a cocktail glass.


15. BRANDY ALEXANDER
• 1 measure brandy
• 1 measure creme de cacao dark
• 1 measure cream

Shake all ingredients over ice until well frosted, strain into a chilled cocktail glass and dress with a sprinkling of grated nutmeg.


16. B & B
• 1 measure brandy
• 1 measure Benedictine

Pour the brandy and benedictine over cracked ice in a mixing glass and stir to mix, strain into a chilled cocktail glass.


17. BETWEEN THE SHEET
• 1 measure brandy
• ½ measure white rum
• ½ measure triple sec
• 1 measure lime juice

Pour all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously until frosted, and strain into highball glass.


18. BRONX
• 2 measure gin
• 1 measure orange juice
• ½ measure sweet vermouth
• ½ measure dry vermouth

Pour all ingredients over cracked ice in a mixing glass and stir to mix, strain into a chilled cocktail glass


19. BLUE LAGOON
• 1 measure blue curacao
• 1 measure vodka
• ½ lemon juice

Pour all ingredients into a highball or cocktail glass, and top up with lemonade to taste.

20. B-52
• ⅓ measure kahlua
• ⅓ measure baileys
• ⅓ measure grand marnier

Start with kahlua in a shot glass, with a steady hand pour gently baileys to make a second layer, and then pour gently grand marnier to make a third layer.


21. BACARDI CRUSTA
• 1 ½ measure white rum
• ½ measure lime juice
• 1 tsp absinthe

Rub a little lime round the rim of a cocktail glass and dip into the sugar to lightly crust the glass. Set aside to harden, stir the rest of the lime juice with the remaining ingredients over ice until well frosted. Strain into the prepared glass and dress with lime.


22. BLACK VELVET
• Stout or Guinness chilled
• Champagne chilled

Pour both drinks in equal quantities carefully (may fizz up well) into a long beer or highball glass.


23. BEER PLETOK
• 1½ measure vodka
• ½ measure cointreau
• ½ measure lime juice

Pour all ingredients into a chilled beer glass and top up with beer to taste.
